Our contemporary fireplaces range from modern twists on period
styles to minimalist hole in the walls using various modern materials such
as polished steel and a large selection of natural materials.
Based on a sixteenth century design enjoyed a resurgence in the late Victorian
era when gothic revival was popular. This particular design has a matching
stone basket, shaped slips and granite lining.
Increasing the height and depth on the Tudor allows any cast Iron arch, Plate
or Tiled insert to be added to create a substantial chimney piece for any
large room.
Echoes the Art Deco era, clear lines and functional design lined with matching
stone, but with Italian black slate to frame the deco style isis basket.
The Alice appears to be a modern piece yet it is actually a Scottish design
from Edwardian times. The period detailing appears discreetly in the bevelled
edge to either side of the jambs and the top plinth.
