Once we had obtained the relevant information needed, we then had to scale down the original to one third of its size without changing the aesthetics, this involved making models and having them approved by the client. The original is made from Belgian Black marble with Onyx inlay. It was decided to change from Onyx to Mother of Pearl sourced directly from the Far East for a more impressive and eye catching inlay.
